How to use BoatLedger · Methods, examples and report help
Build a realistic ownership budget
Annual cash budget combines twelve monthly loan payments, twelve slip payments, insurance, maintenance, fuel and other entered expenses. Purchase cash includes the down payment and entered purchase tax.
Compare scenarios by changing one input at a time. Include haul-out, surveys, registration and seasonal storage in the relevant expense fields.
Financing uses a fixed-rate amortizing loan. Depreciation, resale proceeds and unentered expenses are excluded. This is a cash budget, not a valuation.
